Greytown Apple Harvest Festival

Greytown Apple Harvest Festival

Molewood Orchard will host the inaugural Greytown Apple Harvest Festival on Saturday 27 April (with Sunday 28 April held in reserve as the rain day) on the Molewood Meadows – two large green spaces set amongst the orchard that are perfect for picnics, letting the kids run free or just relaxing.

The festival will be loads of fun for adults and kids with stalls, food trucks, cider-tasting, apple cakes, games, toffee apples, pony rides and much more!

Molewood Orchard will also be open for picking every weekend from Saturday 2 March until early June where you'll be able pick your own fresh pears as well as apples, then enjoy the fruits of your labour on Molewood Meadows.

Molewood Orchard have been growing apples and pears in Greytown for more than 30 years, sending their fruit across the country and around the world. Now focused on supporting a local market, Molewood Orchard is cared for and run by Ed Cooke, his son Wendell, and their families.

Make sure you visit this season, meet the Cooke's, and sample their delicious produce!
