Rototawai

Rototawai

Rototawai is a tranquil landscape & restored homestead in southern Wairarapa, where you can view the private collection of art, unique landscape and garden walk, as well as historic home.

The Rototawai Collection of art, considered a significant group of works, can be viewed throughout the lower floor of the homestead, while new works will feature over time.

While you're there, check out the Georgian style homestead completed in 1929, after the original property built for William Edward Bidwill (1858-1933) burnt down.

From there, take a walk in the garden through mature trees and curated pathways. Maps of the walking paths and feature planting are available for self guided walks.
